AC5501 Gloss Model Cote - 28ml

Gloss Model Cote is a solvent-based varnish supplied in a 28ml glass bottle. It goes on Clear and dries Clear, without the yellowing effect often seen with traditional varnishes. The result is a smooth, high-sheen coat that protects Acrylic, Enamel and Spray paint beneath it. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades.

Ideal For

• A pre-decal coat, where the Gloss surface reduces silvering and helps decals sit flush against the model
• A final protective coat over Acrylic, Enamel and Spray paints on plastic kits, rolling stock and dioramas

How to Use

Brush straight from the jar, or thin with Enamel Thinners for airbrushing at 2 parts product to 1 part thinner. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, and drying times vary with ambient temperature and humidity. Re-coat after 24 hours, once hard-dry, then clean brushes and flush the airbrush with Enamel Thinners. Warning: solvent-based product. Use in a well-ventilated area. Not suitable for children under 14 years.
