Why are military jet models so popular?
Many of the military plane models we make are based on aircraft that are no longer in service. You might see one at an airshow or in a museum, but it is very unlikely you will ever get the chance to fly in one, which makes these historical replicas something special.
But perhaps more important, is the stories that these model kits tell. As you piece your build together, you can learn about the people who flew in the real vehicle. There are real-life tales of bravery to discover, each one completely unique.
And just like the people who flew them, these military plane model kits refer to a unique moment in time. Liveries were often adapted to suit the squadron the plane was assigned to, and then further enhanced by the pilot.
