Which model-making supplies do you need?
There are lots of ways to finish your model kits and give them a personality. From brightly coloured paints to weathering powders that add a worn look to your Airfix models, there’s plenty of ways to get creative!
Enamel or acrylic paint?
Modellers often get caught up on whether to use enamel or acrylic paint, and they offer very different things. Enamel paint is oil-based and usually needs thinning for the best finish, although the result is very smooth. Meanwhile, acrylic paint is water-based, making it easier to clean up and faster drying.
Clean finish or weathered?
Some people like their kits to look as they would have during war, or if they had been used regularly. In that case, you’ll want to look at our range of enamel washes and weathering powders to give that battered finish you desire.
