What does 1:24 scale mean?
The finished model is one twenty-fourth the size of the real aircraft, the largest scale in the Airfix catalogue. These are the kits Airfix calls Superkits: part counts, detail and shelf presence all scaled up to match, and builds measured in weeks rather than evenings.
