AV0208 Enamel Wash - Dust - 28ml

A 28ml pot of Dust Enamel wash for weathering plastic kits and resin models, plus other substrates. The translucent, solvent-based formula flows into fine relief detail such as rivets and panel lines, including bolt detail. It dries to a natural Matt finish, touch dry in 10-20 minutes; allow longer for a hard dry before handling. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades.

• Works over Humbrol Enamel and Acrylic base coats; test non-Humbrol Acrylics on a spare piece first

• Armour and military vehicles, with aircraft also covered, particularly at scales such as 1:72
• Railway locomotives and wagons. Also suitable for figures, buildings and naval vessels
• A broad range of surfaces, including most plastics and resin, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, cardboard and sealed plaster

How to Use

Brush straight from the pot for a bold effect, or thin with Humbrol Enamel Thinners for a subtler result. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, and a wet wash can be blended with a stipple brush dampened in thinners. Warning: solvent-based, so work in a well-ventilated area away from naked flames; recommended for ages +14 Years
