History

The M3 personnel carrier evolved from the four-wheeled scout car. Throughout the Second World War, the White Motor Company produced over 41,000 units. This variant included the enhanced M49 machine gun ring mount positioned over the right-hand side front seat. All M3 Half-Tracks, both standard and A1 models, received upgrades between 1942 and 1943.
